The perfect day can involve lots of sunshine, lots of water and amazing animals. One part of my trip away was unforgettable – The Miami Seaquarium! As you have probably seen I do love a good visit to the Aqaurium or Zoo from my blog!
The Miami Seaquarium plays host to Lolita the Killer Whale, awesome dolphins of all sizes ,sea lions, sharks, parrots, flamingos….the list goes on and on!
We were staying in South Beach and took a taxi to the Aquarium based in Biscayne Bay which only took around 20 minutes. It was an extremely hot day so sun-creamed up I was ready to go view some amazing animals!
There are so many shows on throughout the day so get there early to avoid missing any. I watched 3 separate dolphin shows, from the Flipper show to them interacting with the Killer Whale and then Top Deck Dolphins which jumped super high. It was amazing to see what they can do and watch the trainers even balance on top of the whale.
I loved the tropical birds and the massive fish aquarium, there were also some endangered animals Manatees, so it was great to see them, they were absolutely huge. I also got my picture took with the dolphin Annox and got to touch him, which was pretty cool.
